Enrique Iglesias Preysler (Madrid, May 8, 1975), is a Spanish pop singer and composer, actor, and youngest son of Julio Iglesias and Isabel Preysler.

He began his musical career in 1993 by signing a contract with Fonovisa, owned by the Mexican company Televisa, which boosted his career in its beginnings between Spanish-speaking countries and the Hispanic Diaspora in the United States. In 1999 he signed with the Interscope label and made a crossover for the English speaking market. He also signed with Universal Music Latino, owned by Universal Music to release his albums in Spanish. In 2010 he separated from Interscope and signed with the Universal Republic label. In 2015 he signed for Sony Music.3

The artist has sold more than 100 million musical productions in English and Spanish.4 5 6 In the United States he has sold more than 12 million copies. With these figures, he is among the most successful singers in the world.7

Enrique Iglesias has won the most important and prestigious awards in the music industry. It has a Grammy for the best Latin artist. He also has five Latin Grammys, four Billboard awards, 43 Billboard Latinos, 10 World Music Awards, eight American Music Awards, five Latin American Music Awards, 22 Lo Nuestro Awards, 15 Youth Awards, 20 ASCAP Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards, four prizes 40 Principales, two Proudly Latin, a prize Waves or a seagull of silver in the Festival of Viña del Mar, among others.8 8 9

The singer holds the record for having placed 27 songs in the first place of the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks.
